HooTai Spring Production Process

In general, the forming process is divided into cold winding and hot winding, in common parlance is a direct winding with cold steel wire, a wire is heated to red soft and then wound, and then cooled. Cold winding is generally adapted to small wires less than 16 mm. Hot winding is a large diameter wire, the cold wind is complex and the heat treatment is not uniform.
Now the cold-wound steel wire compression spring process is described as follows.
1. Material preparation.
According to the technical requirements of the spring, determine the choice of materials, such as carbon steel wire, piano wire, alloy steel wire, stainless steel wire, or copper wire …… and see if the surface of the wire has no rust, scars and other hidden problems affecting product quality.
2. Debugging equipment.
Different wire diameter wire to choose different models of machine debugging production, fine wire with a large machine to do not stable, and thick wire with a small machine is not stable. So each model of machine has the most suitable wire diameter, both fast and stable.
Selected the machine and equipment, but also debug the spring material wire diameter corresponding to the ground wire wheel, wire groove, curve gauge, pitch push rod, mandrel, cutter, etc. repair and grinding to the machine. Then the selected wire is installed and the commissioning begins.
When commissioning, we should pay attention to the surface of the spring not to have scars, the fracture should be flat, and also to allow for the subsequent heat treatment of the spring outside diameter, height, and the amount of change in the number of turns.
Confirm that there is no error before you can start production.
3. Heat treatment.
Heat treatment is to heat the wound spring to a certain temperature and keep it for a certain time to eliminate the stress generated inside the wire during the winding deformation. To ensure the stability of the spring in the later use process.
The heat treatment process is an important process, and different temperatures and times are used depending on the material. It is also an important process related to the stability and fatigue life of the spring.
4. The grinding head, standing treatment, and surface treatment are to be completed according to the requirements of the drawings.
Surface treatments are electroplating, spraying, oxidation ……
These are not universal, according to customer requirements
5. Finished product inspection
According to the drawing requirements inspection, including the surface has no scars, no rust … force value, strength has reached the requirements, the spring and tight height, fatigue life, etc.
6. Packaging
According to the customer’s requirements, we use cartons, wooden pallets, etc.
