  • High Hardenability Steel: 55SiVB (e.g., EQ140 leaf springs) faces reduced usage due to higher cost and hardness. Larger leaf springs, like EQ153, now use 60CrMnB steel.
  • Phasing Out: Cr-V steel, especially 50Cr-V (SUP10), is gradually exiting the scene.
